Five Friday Favs!
I'm so excited about this week's addition of Five Friday Favs! I came across so many amazing and inspirational images, articles, and people this week and and am on a design-high heading into the weekend! I honestly feel so blessed and fortunate every day to be doing what I absolutely love! Not to mention the fact that I love finally seeing our little 50s fixer upper finally starting to transform into our perfect home sweet home.
This week we are back to a mix of design, fashion, recipes and inspiration...
As always, I hope you all enjoy and are inspired on a weekly basis!
I know I sound like a broken record over here and my lust for kitchens doesn't really make any sense at all since I hate cooking/baking and am HORRIBLE at it, but I just can't get enough of them and absolutely LOVE designing them! The kitchen above via House Beautiful is another one to add to my ever-growing board of favorites. Love the mix of the natural, light oak finish, the light, white, veiny, stone countertops, the black window mullions, and the ceiling beams. This space is also beautifully curated and accessorized with just enough, but not too much...and of course bringing natural elements indoors...one of my favorite ways to accessorize and bring a space to life.
Now that it is officially fall and is FINALLY starting to cool down a bit here in South Florida, I am ready for hats... hats, hats, and more hats....all the wide-brimmed hats! I just love them and love how they can effortlessly pull together any outfit and hide any bad hair day! This style photo is Zsa Zsa Bellagio's "Style Watch" article, but I have also been eyeing up this one on Etsy by Dear Golden.
I am not big on sweets, but these are just so pretty that I just had to share and if I was going to hit the sweets bar, it might as well be something good-looking, easy to make, and fruit-based... I love apples! :) Since the base of these are apples, they much be healthy, right?!?!

I am such a lover of podcasts! I love listening to them, getting inspired, and learning more and more. They are relaxing and soothing to me and are such a great way to pass the time during long drives and/or to calm down before bedtime. In the Storehouse is a podcast that I recently discovered and absolutely love! Jennifer Flores & Erin Trafford, from In the Storehouse, talk all things social media, marketing, business, entrepreneurship, trends, digital influence, blogging, best practices, etc.

Love this foyer image via One Kindesign! Love the stark white against the warm wood finishes and textured, woven baskets, which can serve as a decorative item but also for miscellaneous storage in a foyer space like this one...shoes, bags, etc. This image just screams fall to me so thought it was very fitting for this mid-October post. Also, it was one of our most-pinned for the week this week so someone else out there must love it to! ;)
Much love..... Hope you all have a fun, safe, fabulous weekend! xo - Chelsey
