We are crazy busy over here at C Studio (so amazing) so today I am just going to quickly go over a few of my go-to paint colors that work in almost every home and with every style. These paints colors are nice, neutral tones that can be used in almost every room of your home and from walls and ceilings to trim, doors, and built-ins. The list is never-ending when it comes to paint colors, but these are a few of my favorites and colors that I have used quite a few times over the years and are just classics in my opinion! As a quick designer tip, when painting, I always recommend putting a sample(s) up on a wall in the space where you will actually be painting and then sit on it for a day or so... Make sure you walk into the space and take a look at the color at different times of day and in different types of light as the color will look different each and every time. Painting your home is also a fun way to change things up a bit and create a totally different look/feel in a fairly quick and inexpensive way. All of these colors are by Benjamin Moore, but I also love Sherwin Williams and Farrow & Ball. Hope you all are having a fabulous week so far! Don't forget to stayed tuned tomorrow for our weekly addition of "Five Friday Favs!"

Benjamin Moore - Simply White OC-117...Also known as Benjamin Moore's 2016 Color of the Year!
This color is pretty much always a winner in my book... not too warm, yet not too cool, all at the same time and goes with just about everything! I have used this color on walls, trim, doors, cabinets, etc. One of my all-time fav colors and definitely one that we will be using here at our little 50's fixer upper! :)

Benjamin Moore - Gray Owl OC-52
This the perfect light gray tone! It creates an inviting, soothing feeling throughout the space, yet is light and bright. You can see in the images below that it works beautifully on cabinets, as well as on walls in bedrooms, bathrooms, and living rooms. I especially love using this color in Living/Family Room spaces as you could always switch up the decor and furniture in the room and this paint color will still work!

Benjamin Moore - CHANTILLY LACE OC-65
Another classic off-white tone that I have used countless times and is hands-down one of my favs... especially for trim/molding, casings and doors! And it just has a pretty little name to it too! :) A warm, white tone that will add a warm, inviting feel to your space and goes nicely next to almost every paint color, if you are using it on baseboard for instance. I highly recommend this one!

Benjamin Moore - Revere Pewter HC-172
This one is definitely a much more rich, darker color, but it is a beautiful, warm, taupe-tone that is perfect, especially for more transitional to traditional spaces. I love it for cabinets and Master Bedrooms in particular. Depending on the colors, finishes, and pieces that you pair with this color, it can go warmer or cooler. What do you all think? Benjamin Moore - Stonington Gray HC-172
Yet another fabulous neutral, gray tone! This color is perfect from interior to exterior, as you can see below where it is used for the door color on this adorable front porch... love it! To me, this color is the perfect mix of gray and taupe and also the perfect shade... not too light, but not too dark. Gray is so in right now and you basically can't go wrong with this clean, classic color.
